We all know people who downplay their achievements.  They don’t want to appear selfish or egotistical.  The left-overs are okay with them – let the other people have the good stuff.  This is a nice attitude to have occasionally, but if you are always putting yourself down and counting yourself out, there may be a problem.  If anyone of you lives with a martyr, you know how difficult that can be.

Of course we also know people who are full of themselves.  They think that whatever they do or say deserves other people’s attention.  They’re not easy to live with either.

So how do we strike that nice healthy balance between thinking too much or too little of ourselves?   It may help to start with who we really are.

We are divine beings have a human experience.  So is everyone else we share this planet with, but we’re all in different stages of learning, sort of like being in different grades in school.  A 10th grader is not superior to a 3rd grader – just older with more experience.  It’s really important to know that we are wonderful and marvelous, as long as we remember that everybody else is too. Our actions do not always reflect ‘who we are’,  but ‘who we are’ remains the same.  It’s essential to realize that we are all amazing souls here for individual lessons, and when the lessons are over we will go back to being our true selves – amazing souls.

If we don’t believe that we are wonderful and doing a good job here,  we won’t feel deserving of all the blessings that the Universe has in store for us.  If we don’t feel deserving, we can’t receive.  That’s just the Law of Attraction working absolutely the way it should.

In the eyes of God we are all equal, because God sees our souls.  In the eyes of God we are all marvelous because that is how He made us.  Remember, no one is more important that you are.  No one is more deserving of happiness, joy, health, abundance, peace and prosperity.  Please keep that in mind as you go through your day.

Time To Be Peaceful -

Tomorrow on March 7, 2012 our moon will be in alignment with the planet Mars.  On Thursday, March 8 we will experience a full moon.  All celestial bodies vibrate differently and we ‘read’ these vibrations in our bodies and translate them into emotions.  When Venus is close by it is easier to feel loving.  When Mercury lines up with us, our mental capabilities are sharpened.  When our moon is full our emotions are at their strongest, and it is easier to write love songs or get in a fight with someone.  Mars always stirs us up.  We find it easier to become assertive, but we must also guard against becoming aggressive.

So here we have it.  Full moon in Mars.  Places on earth that are already warlike could become intensified.  Places within you that are unsettled may become more volatile.  This is a very important week to approach everything we do with a sense of calmness and rationality.

Prayers and thoughts for peaceful and most benevolent solutions are helpful every day of our lives, but sometimes we forget to pray them or think them.  Hope that for the next few days you will choose to remember, and send your benevolent emotions out into a troubled world.

In The Moment

In The Moment -

Quite often as we journey through life, we find ourselves anticipating, sometimes with a sense of dread, what we think might be up ahead of us.

The usual response might be to worry, or to try not to worry – or any number of solutions to distract ourselves, or to solve a problem that hasn’t appeared yet.

Of course if you are concerned about carbon monoxide you should get your furnace checked.  If you’re worried about your health, maybe there are some changes in your life style you should be making.  So I’m not talking about those things.

I’m talking about the sense of dread over the unknown – and the only way we will ever deal with that is in the moment it is happening.

There is something we can do, however, to be prepared for those moments and it goes something like this:

Dear God,  the next time I experience confusion, grant me the clarity to know what to do.  The next time I am filled with doubt, flood me with memories of all the times You have helped me.  The next time I experience fear, remind me immediately of how powerful You are, and how powerful I am when I let You work in my life.   Thank You.

Prayers like that will always be answered – and you will get your answer in the moment you need it.

Comparisons

Comparisons -

Recently, I watched an episode of ‘Hoarders’ on TV. Have you ever seen that show?  It’s about people who live for years without ever throwing out the trash – or anything else.  After watching that, my house looked pretty good to me.  I could even skip spring cleaning this year and still feel pretty superior if I choose too.  Then again, I have a few friends who live immaculate lives.  After I visit them I could come home and be dismayed by water spots on my kitchen faucet if I choose to.

Most of the standards we have for our lives live within a field of comparison.  We see how other people do things, and how other people think, and we find our comfort zone in the middle of that.

To be a ‘free thinker’ has often, in our history, been equated with something so radical and different that it shouldn’t be trusted.

Today I am challenging everybody to become a ‘free thinker’.  Take a subject – any subject – and hold it up for examination.  Why do you feel that way about the subject?  Is it shared by your family, friends, church or society?  Have you ever thought it through before, or have you just accepted what somebody else told you?  What to YOU really believe?

I saw a video the other day about the different functions of the different sides of our brain.  For most of our lives, and particularly when we started school, the part that conforms has been nurtured more than the part that imagines and dreams and figures things out for itself.  Many of us need to make deliberate conscious choices to expand our intuitive and creative side.

It is ironic that in order to reach true unity with our fellow man, we must first claim our independence of thought, but we do.  The desire for meaningful unity has to be born from a strong sovereign self-assured spirit.

Today may you be inspired to journey inward to find your independent creative self.  May you then desire to be part of something even greater.

Most People

Most People -

Most people know that our government is corrupt on many levels.  Most people know that our drug companies benefit from keeping us sick.  Most people know that our education system is flawed. Most people don’t know what to do about it, and so they become complacent.   Some people speak out, and some people are working hard to change the status quo.

Today’s message is simple but profound.  If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem.  Complacency got us where we are today.  THEY did it – but WE let them.

The solution for you is very simple.  You must start to care.
Once you start to care, you must forgive yourself for not caring sooner.
Once you forgive yourself, you must start to become educated.
Once you educate yourself, you must not be overwhelmed by what has gone on before.
Once you are at peace with what has gone on before, you must discover that there is a greater purpose to this existance.
Once you discover the greater purpose you will realize that everyone has been playing a part.
Once you understand that everyone has been playing a part, you must come to compassion.
One you find a peaceful and compassionate place within yourself, you must open up to love.
Once you can love, you can direct it with an open heart and open eyes to all concerned.
Once you embody love for all, you will be part of the solution.
Once you are part of the solution you will see something constructive to do to help.
Once you do it, our world will heal.

A Very Important Story

A Very Important Story -

There is a story in the Bible about a man who owned a vineyard.  He hired people to work all day for a certain amount of money and the people were happy with the deal.  When the day was almost over he hired still a few more to finish out the day – fewer hours -  the same amount of money as the ones hired earlier.

Some people would say ‘that is not fair’ —the people who worked longer should get more.  I understand – it doesn’t seem fair.  In third dimensional thinking it is not fair.  BUT – we want to leave 3d, right?  We want to leave polarity, and disparity, and war and suffering, don’t we?  Then our thinking has to get more expansive.

We have to become grateful that we got to spend the whole day in the vineyard gaining experience and getting to know our fellow workers.

We have to find the love in our hearts to welcome the latecomers, and be glad that they finally found their way to a place that would take them in.

We have to love the owner of the vineyard, and realize that if we had been one of those who found our way here last, we would still be welcomed and cared for and given all we need.

This heartfelt compassion, understanding, and acceptance of the latecomers, is going to be CRUCIAL in the days and weeks and months to come.  We are going to be hearing many stories about people who took advantage of us, are now sorry, and want to come along with us.

Can you forgive them, accept them and welcome them?  It’s a lot to think about, but consider this:   Had you been born in different circumstances, it could be you that wants to get on board during the final hours.  I can only speak for myself to those who are coming late to the party.  I welcome you.  I’m glad you made it.

How Important Is One?

How Important Is One? -

Back in December in our Conscious Creation Course we talked a lot about the importance of each individual.  If you work for days on a 1000 piece puzzle, only to have one piece missing at the end, that’s pretty disappointing.  The whole thing is incomplete.

If you clean and shine a big picture window and miss one small area, that smudged area will draw your attention, and the window will not look good.

If you have a rather small hole in an otherwise perfect screen door then the flies and mosquitoes can get it. The whole screen is therefore ineffective,

A recent area election was lost by one vote – just ONE.

ONE matters – one puzzle piece – one smudge – one small hole – one person – YOU.

Last week I told you that the cosmic vote would be taken this year.  As we are moving from one time/space continuum to another during this magical year of 2012, what is happening is that our collective vibration is being drawn through resonance to a similar vibrational time/space.  The more loving, peaceful, hopeful, joyous, forgiving and grateful we are, the more we will be pulled to a space where all those vibrational qualities are already the standard.  We will probably end up somewhere that is resonating to a mid to high fourth or lower fifth dimensional frequency.

Since any of those are better than the 3d we have been experiencing for the last 26,000 years, our outlook is already assured.  What has not been decided yet, however, is just how far we can go.  PLEASE take this seriously.  Let’s finish off our internal work, and start loving ourselves, and therefore everybody else.  Let’s make compassion and understanding our new way of life.  Let’s soar as high as we can in the remaining months of this year.  Our new world can be glorious – we can make it that way.

Past Behavior – Future Prediction -

Once in a while I watch Dr. Phil.  Once in a while I agree with him about something.  Many times I don’t.  One of his favorite things to tell people is that ‘the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior’.   That may have been true at one time.  It’s not true anymore.

The world is changing.  People are changing.  We’re changing.  Energy is changing.  Trying to even give a future prediction anymore is risky business.  The future is currently just a blueprint that is written in the sand and anyone can change their own personal future at any time.  Mass consciousness can change the direction of the planet in any given moment.  That’s why it is so important that there are a lot of us looking forward with love and trust.  Our beliefs, and thoughts and feelings are that important.  We are creating our future world – right here in 2012.

Please accept the responsibility for being a part of the creation of the new world seriously.  We don’t have much time before the cosmic votes are counted and we settle onto the road that we have all decided upon.  2013 and beyond can be as glorious as we intend them to be.  Whatever you decide, this is going to be one amazing year!

Special Message

Hi Friends – I usually don’t drop in to visit you more than once a week (I don’t want to wear out my welcome:) —–but we are living in extraordinary times.  In the Bible it talks about the weeds and tares being allowed to grow side by side —and a time of harvest when the wheat would be separated from the chaff.  I believe we are in that time.  We are in the time of harvest and separation.

In order to comlete the harvest successfully it will serve us to know what the weeds and the chaff really look like.  We have a clue – we know our major corporations, governments, drug companies, etc., are out of control and don’t serve our best interests.  But it has always been my belief that the more information we have, the more informed decisions we can make.

To that end I am suggesting a man, and a web-site that is worth investigation.  This is a lot of information, and if you choose to read it, please do so with an open mind and reserve judgement until the end.  As a society we have been manipulated for a very long time – - but for a higher purpose.  This was allowed at the highest levels of Spirit to give us the gift of free will and the chance to explore polarity to its extreme.  Those that took advantage of us did it with our unconscious and unknowing consent, but on some level we went along.

Bullys have been allowed to dominate because on some level the victims believed themselves to be helpless.  We are not helpless anymore.  The Galactic Alignment of 2012 is providing all the cosmic energy we need to take back our power.  This is a gift from God.

If you choose to read this, understand that the purpose is absoluely NOT to generate more fear, but to shine light on the darkness.  The darkness cannot exist once we know about it and refuse to go along with it anymore.

Training Goes On -

For those of us who have often felt that life ‘just happens’ and we are along for the ride, this year could be a real challenge – but in a good way

There were lifetimes when fear led the way.  That was appropriate for the space we were in.  We were learning about fear, and its power and its results.
We weren’t sure we would have a good day – but we ‘hoped’ we would.  We weren’t certain we’d be safe but we ‘prayed’ we would be.
Our uncertainly often attracted the very thing we were afraid of.

We spent such a long time (26,000 years) in that energy, that to have faith that something brand new is here is a bit of a shock and a jolt to our energy systems.
In order to create in the new energy we may need to start simply.  Just like children learn their basic numbers before they jump to algebra, we need to start at the beginning too.

Start with something you are comfortable with.  Even though you may have a busy schedule, you might intend that all the essential things get taken care of in appropriate ways.
You could decide to send a silent blessing to everyone you come in contact with during the day – and to be available if someone requires your help.
You could assure your body that everything you feed it today will be wonderful and delicious and nurturing.

Tomorrow you might add some more behaviors to the list – things that you can be certain of, because you are in charge of them.
Next week I will offer some more suggestions for things you can intend, once you get comfortable being in the driver’s seat of your life.
